Franc Erold, CEO and founder of EMG First Family, Inc

AWARE.  BOLD.  COMMITTED.

EMG First Family, Inc. is a proven enterprise focused on music, fashion, business and most importantly, family first.  Francisco Erold, founder and CEO is a strategic leader and entrepreneur that delivers a supreme level of excellence in everything he does.  He is aware of his roots, bold enough to meet every challenge and committed to reaching his goals.

As a boy Francisco immigrated to the US from Haiti to finally join his parents and seven siblings. The struggling, but close knit family, bounced from city to city until finally settling into life in the notorious projects of Roxbury. Francisco’s parents taught their children that with hard work, an education and determination, you could be anything you ever dared to dream to be. In under a decade, his family was able to purchase a home in the revitalized Dorchester community where the home continues to serve as the family hub.

Though his parents did their best, Francisco, learned how to hustle/navigate the ganglands of Roxbury while attending a private school. He was eventually expelled. He was not immune to the seductive power of gangs and the culture of gun violence that comes with it.  His expulsion was the tipping point and Francisco became involved in the grass roots organization SPES. There he began to internalize the values of invention, collaboration and perseverance. After he dropped out of public high school he completed his GED and attended college, earning a business degree, and beginning his life in entrepreneurship. Love brought him to Atlanta, where he began working in real estate by day and promotions by night. Working with friends, he started out doing low level street promotions for the new label So So Def, beginning his affair with the entertainment industry.

Francisco, now mostly known as “Franc” or 'Franc Nitty', was inspired to develop his own clothing line, and formed Organized Gear, indulging his love of fashion. He eventually grew business after business. From his fashion line, came boutiques and even a dry cleaners. Eventually he moved back to Boston, to be closer to his family. Back home, Franc made investments in entertainment, which eventually culminated in a co-ownership of the successful, Boston premium club, the Blue Wave. Here Franc was able to develop his promotional skills, establishing a robust promotional company. He has collaborated with and managed celebrities including Scarface,  Rocis, David Webber, Q Parker of 112, Rocko, SMB, Rich Homie Quan, Y3 & Cease.

A brush with gun violence changed Franc’s outlook after he witnessed the death of a dear friend.  He took time to focus on his growing family. Instead, entertainment took a back seat. Choosing to develop an investment in a limousine operation, while managing the labels only part time. He carefully grew the business and eventually was able to sell it at a profit .  He successfully spearheaded an array of small businesses and wanted to pass on his passion for invention to his young children.  As a result he founded Nerd Squad which is operated collaboratively with his children.  Nerd Squad celebrates being a nerd through eyewear and allowed Franc to teach his children the value of hard work and commitment.

Franc gives back to his community, through motivational, public speaking engagements. He is currently establishing Stan 4 a Purpose to share his life experience and help young teens follow the right path.
